LIFE GROUPS AT CHURCH OF THE ORANGES

COMMUNITY BUILDING, ONE PERSON AT A TIME

WHY LIFE GROUPS?

Because we are convinced that the Christian life is better when we live it together.  It’s how Jesus lived and that’s how we want to live. In many ways, Life Groups are where we Become like Christ and you can join online today!

Despite social media, people today have few genuine friends.
Life Groups help people engage in relationships that build friendships and become more like Christ.

EACH ONE, REACH ONE

Life Groups are how we do community at Church of the Oranges. They are small groups of people that get together around a topical study or a common interest throughout the year and will help you to grow as follower of Christ.

Throughout the year, we have groups meeting on and off our church grounds. To find the right group for you, click the link below.

We have a vision to see every person at Church of the Oranges thriving relationally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually through involvement in a Life Group.  You don’t have to have it all together to lead a group. You don’t need a fancy house or the best party planner. Leading a group is actually pretty easy.

CLICK AWAY (CAG)

Leader: Wayne Greaves

Click Away: We believe that photography is an artistic expression of the creative talents that God has given each one of us. In this group, there will be instruction in photographic technique but the emphasis is on promoting faith in God through photographs, reflection and discussion.

What better way to share our reverence and awe than with the many gorgeous and breathtaking views of creation– from the fury of the raging surf to the gentle caress of a slow waterfall, from the gorgeous colors of a tropical sunset to the explosion of cherry blossoms in Spring.

Curriculum: Demonstration, personal feedback, selected videos and handouts will be used.

WEALTH, HEALTH & TIME (W.H.A.T.)

God’s desire for us is to experience perfect health and well being in the form of optimal spiritual, mental, emotional and physical wellness. He wants us to be fulfilled, living with a purpose and living the abundant life He wants us to experience all the fruits of the Holy Spirit and be free from worry and stress even in the midst of trials and tribulations

Wellness is not a destination, its’ a change in one’s lifestyle. It’s integrating the physical, emotional and spiritual to create a balance in our relationships, family and work life.

MEN UNMASKED (M.U.M)

Leader: Rudolph Stoddart

Men Unmasked: We believe the first step to becoming a modern man is identifying our limitations. Being a modern man requires being effective and competent, it’s every man’s desire to be able to handle himself in any situation he encounters. The modern man must be both a scholar and a craftsman. The curriculum offers practical skill that will enrich our lives and equip us with the tools and biblical discipline for any situation, whether it’s fixing a leaky faucet or cooking a romantic dinner for two.

As we step out of our comfort zones and stretch, this is an opportunity to prepare for witnessing to someone in a foreign language.
